<p>George A Tyger, 83 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away at home on Saturday October 9, 2021. George was born in Canoe Twp., PA and has lived in Little Egg Harbor for 20 years. George served our nation in the United States Navy. After working as a service man for 40 years for New Jersey Natural Gas, he and his wife visited all lower 48 states in their RV. He enjoyed woodworking, clock making, travelling, and camping with his family. We can&rsquo;t fully put into words what George meant to our entire family. He had a heart of gold. His stories of his childhood, Navy days and life in general could make anyone laugh and his compassion was just overwhelming. He gave us memories we will cherish forever. We love you always and will miss you forever.</p> <p>George was predeceased by his parents Gard and Delsie Tyger, daughter-in-law Holly Tyger, 4 brothers and 1 sister.</p> <p>He is survived by his loving wife Linda of 56 years, children Frank Tyger of Barnegat, NJ, Timothy Tyger of Neptune, NJ, Kelly Cottrell (Frank) of Howell, NJ and George Tyger (Jennifer) of TX, brother Ronald Tyger, sister Norma Bedford, 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.</p> <p>A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday October 19, 2021 at 2pm at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation Church at 75 Pomona Rd Egg Harbor City, NJ 08215.</p> <p>For condolences, visit www.maxwellfuneralhome.com</p>
