Deborah “Debbie” Lynn Reeves (nee Benson), April 21, 1961 - October 11, 2021, Glendale, MO, passed away following a long battle with cancer.

She leaves beloved husband, John H. Reeves Jr., loving mother Jeanie Benson of Edwardsville, Illinois, sister Pamela Farrar (Christopher) of Edwardsville, Illinois; sisters-in-law, Terry Haga (Don), Mary Moore (Mike), Virginia Woodring (Steve, deceased), Jackie Spigner (Gary) all of Houston, Texas, nieces and nephew Madalyn, Tyler, Margaret, and Anna Farrar. She was preceded in death by father James L. Benson, sister Rebecca Benson, nephew Victor Cowee.

Debbie lived a life of kindness and thoughtfulness. Her marriage to John in 1988 was the beginning of a long and happy union. After living in Germany for several years, they returned to Texas, then to her hometown of St. Louis in 1994.

As a restaurant manager and food service director for nearly 25 years, Debbie knew how to deck out an event with the best food and run a party to perfection. As manager at Gourmet to Go in Ladue, Debbie enjoyed getting to know the patrons and her co-workers and their families. She was amazing in her own kitchen and created dishes with love for John and her extended family.

For Debbie, family came first, and she brought life to every family gathering with her funny stories and poignant delivery. Starting at a young age, Debbie was an avid Blues fan and celebrated their 2019 Stanley Cup win. She was a friend to everyone and will be missed greatly.
