Donald T Ames, age 56,  passed away on October 1, 2021, at Morton Hospital surrounded by his family.  He was born March 6, 1965 in Taunton MA to Virginia (Donald) Ames and the late Thomas Edward Ames of Raynham MA. Donald graduated from Bridgewater-Raynham High School in 1983 and went on to work in retail management and Customer Service. He served for 25 years on the Board of the Pine Street Preschool in Taunton, most recently as the Treasurer. Donald had a great sense of humor and loved to make others laugh with his vast knowledge and quick wit.  He will be missed by all who knew him.  
In addition to his mother, Virginia Ames of Raynham, he leaves two sisters: Paula Ames of Taunton, MA and Cindy Stone, (husband James), of Raynham MA.  He also leaves his beloved Tom Cat. 
Calling hours for Donald will be held on Saturday, October 16th from 9-10AM at St. Thomas Episcopal Church 111 High Street Taunton, MA 02780 with a service immediately following at 10AM. Internment at Pleasant St Cemetery in Raynham. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Winslow Farms Animal Sanctuary 37 Eddy St. Norton MA 02766.
