Elisabeth Kerwood-Reiter
Elisabeth “Betty,” “Liesi,” “Lissi,”Kerwood-Reiter, of Warrington, passed away on Sunday, October 10, 2021, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was 88 years old. Betty was the beloved wife of Robert J. Reiter. Together the couple shared 12 years of marriage. Betty was born in Bad Reichenhall, Germany. Betty was a communicant of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Warrington. In her free time, Betty enjoyed singing in choirs, volunteering at the Doylestown Senior Center, bird-watching, gardening, and thrift store shopping. Betty is survived by her children David and Ronald Kerwood, Theresa Land, Lorraine Kerwood McKenzie, Kenneth and Lawrence Kerwood, Susan Dils, Barbara Sholly, and Mark and Karl Kerwood. She was the step-mother of Robert and William Reiter. She is also survived by a multitude of grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter Linda and son Michael Kerwood, and by her first husband, David Kerwood. Betty’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 15, 2021, at St. Joseph Church, 1795 Columbia Ave., Warrington, PA, 18976. Family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of the Mass. Interment will follow at St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Four Paws Thrift Store in Warrington or the Doylestown Senior Center.Obituary
