Mom worked side by side with dad on the farm doing the daily activities of farm life. She always had a large garden and took great pride in preserving the produce. She enjoyed berry picking and making jam and canning fruit.

Mom’s greatest joy was attending her grandchildren’s extra circular activities whether it be sporting events, 4-H or school activities, rain or shine grandma and grandpa were there to cheer on the grandchildren. Grandma was very proud of each of their accomplishments.

After dad’s passing mom moved to the Pioneer First Baptist Lodge in Minitonas where she enjoyed the fellowship of new friends. She built many a puzzle in the 8 plus years she resided there. Her week was busy as Tuesday was Seniors at the Minitonas Town hall playing shuffle or games.
