Hattie Inez Stewart, age 90, passed away on October 11, 2021. She was born on August 12, 1931 to the late Perry Walter Flournoy and Ada Whitley Flournoy in LaGrange, Georgia. Before her retirement, she worked as a Machine Operator at Mountville Mills Incorporated. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Stewart; and ten brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her sons, Freddie Stewart (Wanda), and Lamar Stewart (Tracy); daughter, Debby Jones (Owen); grandchildren, Shalet Wingo, Chase Wingo, Ashley Kriebel (Ryan), Jay Stewart (Cameron), Kati Przyjemski (Krystian), Clair Muller (Albert), and Chris Jones (Stephanie); great grandchildren, Scout Kriebel, Kash Kriebel, James Stewart, Corbin Stewart, Stewart Przyjemski, Hattie Przyjemski, Diane Jordan (Chris), Brittany Muller, Michael Muller, Tanner Jones, and Hunter Jones; great-great grandson, Colby Jordan.

Visitation will be held from 11:30 – 1:00 PM at the Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter Allen Myhand on Thursday, October 14, 2021. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM at the funeral home with Pastor James Barnett officiating. Interment will follow at Shadowlawn Cemetery.
