John "Jack" Schuyler Beach

<p>John &quot;Jack&quot; Schuyler&nbsp;Beach&nbsp;passed away peacefully at home on September 28 at the age of 91.</p> <p>He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Martha, their three children Christopher (Nancy Goroff)&nbsp;Beach, Bly (Kevin) Hartley and Alison (David Jaeger)&nbsp;Beach&nbsp;and four grandchildren: Charles and Tom&nbsp;Beach, and Andrew and Eliza Jaeger.</p> <p>Jack was born in Rye, New York where he and Martha lived and raised their children. In 1995, they moved to Winterville, Georgia and relocated the environmental instrument business they had founded together in 1967 to Crawford. They worked together until 2014 when they both retired and passed the company on to their children.</p> <p>Jack was very active in theater at Rye High School and returned to the stage with Arts!Oglethorpe enjoying playing an assortment of roles in musicals with his daughter Bly, and many others in the community. Jack will be remembered by many for his infectious wit, curiosity about all things, and his perpetually rosy outlook on life.</p> <p>Donations in his memory can be made to Arts! Oglethorpe or the Athens Area Humane Society. John "Jack" Schuyler Beach passed away peacefully at home on September 28 at the age of 91.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Martha, their three children Christopher (Nancy Goroff) Beach, Bly (Kevin) Hartley and Alison (David Jaeger) Beach and four grandchildren: Charles and Tom Beach, and Andrew and Eliza Jaeger.

Jack was born in Rye, New York where he and Martha lived and raised their children. In 1995, they moved to Winterville, Georgia and relocated the environmental instrument business they had founded together in 1967 to Crawford. They worked together until 2014 when they both retired and passed the company on to their children.

Jack was very active in theater at Rye High School and returned to the stage with Arts!Oglethorpe enjoying playing an assortment of roles in musicals with his daughter Bly, and many others in the community.
