Claribel “Loraine” Morris, 85, of Trevett, Maine and loving wife of John Morris Sr of 63 years passed peacefully at home on October 9th in the comfort of her supportive and loving family. She is the daughter of Harold Sr. and Claribel Mansfield of Boothbay Harbor. Loraine is survived by her husband John, three sons and four grandchildren. Sons: John Morris Jr and wife Karen of Windham ,NH. Brian Morris Sr of Fremont, NH and Gregory Morris and wife Christine of Antrim, NH. Her brothers are Thomas L.Mansfield and wife Susan of Brunswick and Harold P. Mansfield Jr and wife Cheri of Boothbay. Loraine was born in Brockton, Mass and graduated from Oak Grove School for Girls in Vassalboro Maine where she was quite Equestrian. She attended Mary Washington College in Virginia and graduated from Somerville Hospital School of Nursing where she spent many years in various fields of medicine. Her love of the outdoors and animals was evident as she was frequently seen with one or two Springer Spaniels by her side. A Memorial service will be announced at a future date.
