Scott P. Koeller 53 of Villa Park,IL.Beloved husband of Wanda nee Paluta.Loving father of Alex and Paul.
Dear son of the late Glenn and Betty Koeller.Fond brother of Cheryl (Ben) Adlaf, Gary (Rhonda) Koeller and Neal (Beth) Koeller.
Cherished uncle of Ryan and Daniel Adlaf, Rachel (Matt) Moore and Allison Koeller. Great uncle of Adeline Moore.
Scott graduated from Pearl City High School, Pearl City, Illinois, in 1980. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in education from the University of Illinois, and a Master of Science degree in education from Northern Illinois University. Scott and Wanda wed in 1985, and were married for 30 years. Scott began his professional career in education when he and Wanda moved to McAllen, Texas, where he taught elementary school for 5 years. Scott was named Teacher of the Year for his school during the 1988-1989 school year. Scott and Wanda returned to the Midwest in 1990, and Scott began teaching in the Villa Park Elementary District #45. Scott was named Teacher of the Year in the District for the 2005-2006 school year, and was distinguished with the “Those Who Excel Award” (ISBE) in 2005. For many years, Scott was a LEAP teacher in District #45.
Scott was a member of the Villa Park Tang Soo Do club for 10 years, and earned a Black Belt in Karate. He also enjoyed visiting and working on the family farm in Jo Daviess County, Illinois. One of Scott’s interests was attending games at major league baseball stadiums around the country. Scott was an avid reader and a music lover. He also loved trying new adventures, such as rock climbing, spelunking, and bike riding.

8:00P.M. Funeral Memorial Mass Tuesday 10:00A.M. Beginning at St. Alexander Church 300 S. Cornell Ave. Villa Park, IL. Interment will
