Edward L. Hughes 86, lifetime resident of Villa Park. Passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2011 Beloved husband of Betty for 50 years. Loving father of Cynthia (John) Schoenfeld, Barbara (John) Hilgart and John Hughes. Dear grandfather of Karri (Jim)Temple, Diana (Matt) Jax and Joseph Hilgart. Great grandfather of Marissa and Logan Temple. Edward served in the Army during World War II; he was retired from Illinois Bell Telephone Co. and retired from Villa Park Fire Dept (Paid on call). He enjoyed his family, nieces and nephews and friends in addition to that he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Visitation Thursday Aug 11, 2011 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Steuerle Funeral Home 350 S.
