He resided in North Riverside, IL. He worked for Northern Illinois Gas and Allstate Insurance until retiring. Raymond is survived by his ex wife Patricia Edbrooke, children Sheryl (Alan) Watkins, Patrice ( late William) Hild, Thomas Edbrooke , James Edbrooke and the late Raymond J. (Kathleen survives) Edbrooke. Dear grandfather of 9 and great grandfather of 7. Also his long time companion and ex wife Laverne Edbrooke. Raymond became a member of the United States Navy in 1948. Raymond had a passion for life and lived life to its fullest. His sense of humor was one of his greatest assets and he will be greatly missed. <strong>Memorial visitation on Saturday, January 14, 2017 from 4-8 p.m with Memorial Service 6:30 p.m. at Steuerle Funeral Home, 350 S. Ardmore Avenue, Villa Park, IL.
