Mary “Arlene” Lough, 62, of Weston, went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 8, 2021 at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. She was born in Weston on May 23, 1959, a daughter of the late Arden L. Mayo and Mary Rosella Queen Mayo. In addition to her parents, Arlene was preceded in death by one grandchild, Gabriel Mayo; and two siblings: Arden Eugene Mayo and Edwin Mayo. Forever cherishing their memories of Arlene are two children: David Mayo of Buckhannon, Kayla Mayo of Weston; four grandchildren: Aries, Ariah, Ollie, and Amara; ten siblings: Michael Queen and wife, Marty, Nancy Pugh and husband, Luke, Sheila Pumphrey and husband, Sam, Clinton Mayo and wife, Connie, Betty Barnette and husband, Mike, Goldie Radcliff and husband, Mike, Carol Golden, Margaret Mayo, Virgil Mayo, and Carol Posey; several nieces and nephews; and two beloved K-9 companions: Dusty and Mojo. Arlene graduated from Lewis County High School and was Christian by faith. In her spare time, Arlene enjoyed watching the birds and collecting jewelry. She spent her days as a homemaker where she was able to care for her children and grandchildren. She cherished every moment spent with her family and will be missed dearly. Graveside Services will be held at Lewis County Memorial Gardens at 3 p.m. on Thursday, October 14, 2021. Interment will follow.
