<p><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;"><span style="font-size:20px;"><strong>Branchville, Indiana</strong></span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;"><span style="font-size:20px;"><strong>Donald Owen &ldquo;Don&rdquo; Lynch, 80, passed away on October 10, 2021 at the VA Hospital in Indianapolis.</strong></span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;"><span style="font-size:20px;"><strong>He was born in Doolittle Mills on October 28, 1940, son of Owen and Marie (Walker) Lynch, who preceded him in death, along with a sister, Jean Goldman.</strong></span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;"><span style="font-size:20px;"><strong>Don was a 1959 graduate of Oil Township High School, attended Purdue University and was a U.S. Air Force veteran.</strong></span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;"><span style="font-size:20px;"><strong>He retired as an independent insurance agent, assisting banks and car dealerships in the Southern Indiana region. Don attended Greenwood Methodist Church, was a member of Branchville Masonic Lodge #496 and was a Shriner.</strong></span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;"><span style="font-size:20px;"><strong>Don enjoyed playing cards (he played to win, especially pinochle and euchre), fishing and hunting in his earlier years, updating genealogy of the Walker and Lynch families and coming back to the country in Perry County to visit with old friends. &nbsp;</strong></span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;"><span style="font-size:20px;"><strong>Surviving are his siblings, Allan Lynch, Evansville, Mary Lou McElfresh, Louisville, KY, Anna Mae Riddle, English and Debbie James (Gary), Louisville, KY; six nieces and nephews and his companion, Norma Hast, Greenwood.</strong></span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;"><span style="font-size:20px;"><strong>Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM CDT on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Brother Al Madden will officiate. Burial will follow in Walker Cemetery, Branchville. Visitation will be Wednesday from 3:00-7:00 PM.</strong></span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;"><span style="font-size:20px;"><strong>Memorial contributions may be made to Branchville Cemetery.</strong></span></span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p>

Donald Owen “Don” Lynch, 80, passed away on October 10, 2021 at the VA Hospital in Indianapolis.

He was born in Doolittle Mills on October 28, 1940, son of Owen and Marie (Walker) Lynch, who preceded him in death, along with a sister, Jean Goldman.

Don was a 1959 graduate of Oil Township High School, attended Purdue University and was a U.S. Air Force veteran.

He retired as an independent insurance agent, assisting banks and car dealerships in the Southern Indiana region. Don attended Greenwood Methodist Church, was a member of Branchville Masonic Lodge #496 and was a Shriner.
