Opelousas - A Celebration of Life Service will be held for Ms. Frankie Lynn Olivier at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 14, 2021, in the Skip Montet Memorial Chapel at Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home in Opelousas.  Reverend Fr. Gregory Simien will conduct the service.  Inurnment will follow at the Holy Sepulcher Mausoleum in Opelousas. 

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 14, 2021, in the Skip Montet Memorial Chapel at Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas beginning at 10:00 a.m. until time of service. 

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Frankie Lynn Olivier on Sunday, October 10, 2021, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Frankie worked for a dermatologist, a chiropractor and her family's car lot.  She loved doing yardwork, gardening, and fishing.  Most of all she loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.  Frankie will be dearly missed by all, but she will live on forever in our hearts.

She is survived by three sons, Alex Smith and wife, Shelbie of Sunset; Anthony Smith of Lawtell; and Adam Smith of Opelousas; and her brother, Duane Olivier and wife, Tonya of Opelousas.  She is also survived by her grandchildren, Elijah Smith, Oaklynn Smith and soon to be grandchild, Iley Smith; several godchildren, her godmother, Glenda Darbonne of Opelousas; her godfather, Joe Olivier of Opelousas; a host of nieces and nephews, and her beloved dog, Maggie.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Olivier and Judie Gautreaux Olivier; her brother, Casey Olivier; her maternal grandparents, Sam Gautreaux and Nola Guidroz; and her paternal grandparents, Gilbert and Virgie Venable Olivier.
