<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size:14px;">Sarah Varnell Robinson, 83, of Hamburg, died Sunday, October 10, 2021, at Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello.&nbsp; Mrs. Robinson was a native of Carthage, Arkansas, a resident of Hamburg for over 40 years and a former resident of Malvern, Portland Oregon and Houston Texas.&nbsp; She worked for over 30 years as an Executive Secretary for Georgia-Pacific and retired as the Ashley County Tax Collector after several years. Mrs. Robinson was a member of the First Baptist Church and she enjoyed working in her yard.&nbsp; You never saw her when she was not made up and neatly put together. Cleaning her house was not just a chore to her, she obsessed over it and was constantly cleaning and making sure everything was in its place.&nbsp; She loved her family deeply and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size:14px;">She is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, James Robinson in 2017; her son, James &ldquo;Jimmy&rdquo; Neal Robinson in 2019 and her parents, Wilbur and Lillian Sims Varnell.</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size:14px;">She is survived by her daughter, LouAnne Richardson of Hamburg; three sisters, Patsy Montgomery and Yvonne Samons and husband, Jerry, both of Little Rock and Wilma Silvers of Pine Bluff; her brother-in-law, Curtis Robinson and wife, Melba, of Friendship; three grandchildren, Brandon Murphy and wife, Michelle, of Jackson, Missouri, Aaron Murphy and Kerra Leigh Powell of Little Rock and Michelle MacCloskey of Dallas, Texas and a very special &ldquo;adopted&rdquo; granddaughter, Jayda Beth Knight.</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size:14px;">Graveside services are 10 a.m. Thursday, October 14, 2021, in the Hamburg Cemetery with Rev. Ty Danielson and Brandon Murphy officiating.&nbsp; Honorary pallbearers are Brandon Murphy, Aaron Murphy, Curtis Robinson, David Oliver, Jim Culp, Tommy Sturgeon, Johnny Pierce, Bob Rush, Ted Richardson and Todd Callaway. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church, PO Box 352, Hamburg, AR 71646 or St. Jude, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN&nbsp; 38105-9959.&nbsp;</span></p>

Sarah Varnell Robinson, 83, of Hamburg, died Sunday, October 10, 2021, at Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello.  Mrs. Robinson was a native of Carthage, Arkansas, a resident of Hamburg for over 40 years and a former resident of Malvern, Portland Oregon and Houston Texas.  She worked for over 30 years as an Executive Secretary for Georgia-Pacific and retired as the Ashley County Tax Collector after several years. Mrs. Robinson was a member of the First Baptist Church and she enjoyed working in her yard.  You never saw her when she was not made up and neatly put together. She is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, James Robinson in 2017; her son, James “Jimmy” Neal Robinson in 2019 and her parents, Wilbur and Lillian Sims Varnell.

She is survived by her daughter, LouAnne Richardson of Hamburg; three sisters, Patsy Montgomery and Yvonne Samons and husband, Jerry, both of Little Rock and Wilma Silvers of Pine Bluff; her brother-in-law, Curtis Robinson and wife, Melba, of Friendship; three grandchildren, Brandon Murphy and wife, Michelle, of Jackson, Missouri, Aaron Murphy and Kerra Leigh Powell of Little Rock and Michelle MacCloskey of Dallas, Texas and a very special “adopted” granddaughter, Jayda Beth Knight.

Graveside services are 10 a.m. Thursday, October 14, 2021, in the Hamburg Cemetery with Rev.
