Mary K. Boyd
Mary Katherine Boyd was born December 21, 1939, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Elmer Kirby and Helen Batson. Mary professed her faith in Christ at an early age and attended Lampton Baptist Church. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse in the pediatric field at Norton Audubon Hospital and her love for babies and children was astounding. Her son Daryl, was her world and when he passed she was devastated. She loved to travel to different places and visit as many casinos as possible. Mary was also a snazzy dresser and would wear all the latest fashions. She was preceded in death by her mother and father; son, Daryl Kirby; sister, Betty Hines. Mary’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of her loving nephews and nieces, Donald Bradshaw, Sharon Horton, Debbie Price, Gary Bradshaw, Rodney Bradshaw, Yvette Weaver, Yolanda Stallard, Diane Madison; daughter-in-law, Jackie Kirby; cousin, Kathy Williams and good friend, Molly Thomas. Visitation: Saturday October 16, 2021 at 10:30 AM followed by Memorial Service at 12:00 PM. Both services will be held at Hathaway & Clark Funeral Home. 2718 Virginia Avenue, Louisville, Kentucky 40211.
