FALL RIVER… Isaura Maria Vieira, 86, of Fall River, formerly of Davis Rd, Westport, passed away October 9, 2021 at home, surrounded by her family.

    She was widow of the late Francisco A. Vieira.

    Born in St. Michael, Azores, she was a daughter of the late Manuel Vieira Bizaron and Escolastica Jesus Vieira.

    Mrs. Vieira had worked for many years as a Floor Girl at the former J&J Curtains in Fall River, retiring in 1997. She was a communicant of the former Our Lady of Health Church, and Espirto Santo Chruch. 

    Survivors include two daughters, Maria E. Aguiar (Partner Joao Santos) of Fall River and Donaria Vieira (Husband Manuel Andrade) of St. Michael, Azores; a son, Jose F. Vieira (Wife Clara) of Fall River; 5 sisters and a brother; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

    Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Friday, October 15, 2021, at 9 AM from the Oliveira Funeral Home, 215 Columbia St. Fall River, MA 02721 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at Espirito Santo Church, Alden St. Fall River. Interment will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours will be held Thursday, from 4 – 8 PM.
