<p>FALL RIVER… Maria (Pacheco) Lazaro, 71, of Fall River passed away October 8, 2021 at St. Anne’s Hospital, in Fall River.</p> <p> She was the loving wife of Marcelino C. Lazaro.</p> <p> Born in Lomba do Loucao, St. Michael, Azores, she was a daughter of the late Joao Pacheco Torres and Odilia Brites Pacheco.</p> <p> Mrs. Lazaro had worked for many years as a Trimmer at Lexcraft and Fall River Shirt Company. She was a communicant of Santo Christo Parish.</p> <p> Along with her husband, survivors include her son Michael Lazaro, of Fall River; her sisters Maria Aguiar, of Fall River, and Laura Medeiros, of Somerset; several nieces and nephews.</p> <p> Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Thursday, October 14, 2021, at 8 AM from the Oliveira Funeral Home, 215 Columbia St. Fall River, MA 02721 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 AM at Santo Christo Parish, Columbia St. Fall River. Interment will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, from 5 – 7 PM. </p>Obituary
