Jessie Buck

Jessie A. Buck, age 95 of Antigo, died on Friday, October 8, 2021, at her home surrounded by her family and under the care of LeRoyer Hospice. She was born on January 30, 1926, in Hollister, a daughter of Richard and Verna (Brown) Rose. She married Arnold J. Buck on September 25, 1943, in Antigo. He preceded her in death on September 23, 1979. Mrs. Buck was a waitress at Happy Cafe Restaurant for 17 years where she made many life long friends. She then worked at the Amron Corporation as a machine operator for 20 years. She was a member of the Antigo Community Senior Citizens Club. Jessie loved to take bus trips and travel with family and friends. She enjoyed cooking especially for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Her greatest joy was spending time with family and grandchildren. Survivors include three daughters, Margaret (Alvin) Keso of Antigo, Elaine Kuhlmann of Woodruff and Charlene (Fred) Van Dorf of Antigo; six sons, Jerold (Sharon) Buck of Pickerel, Leon (Linda) Buck of Antigo, Roger (Kathy) Buck of Pearson, Daniel Buck of Antigo, Randy Buck of Bryant and Roland (Doris) Buck of Antigo; 17 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren 12 great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Richard (Martha) Rose of New London; and sister-in-law, Patricia Rose of Peoria, IL. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Larry Kuhlmann; a grandson; two great grandchildren; sisters, Iva Taylor, Leona Goller, Dolly Zelinski, and infant sister, Neoma Rose; brothers, Rufus, Luther, Willard, Donald, Ronald and infant brother Alley. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 14, 2021, at 1 p.m. at Bradley Funeral Home with Vicar Pam Werth officiating. Burial will take place in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home. A special thank you to Nancy, Shelly and all the LeRoyer Hospice staff for the wonderful care they provided to Jessie.
