Robert Glen Boatner, 58, of Rolla, formerly of Eldon, passed away Monday, October 4, 2021, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born December 28, 1962, a son of the late Thomas Boatner, Sr., and Tommy Tracy. He met he saving grace, Rita, and they were married June 17, 2006. He lost the love of his life just three months ago on June 28, 2021. Robert was a 1980 graduate of Warrensburg High School. After high school he enlisted in the U.S. Navy, following in his dad and brother’s footsteps. He then went on to be an over-the-road truck driver in the later part of his life. Survivors include one daughter, Cheyenne Boatner of Eldon; one son, Zachary Boatner of Eldon; three stepchildren: Antonio Wixom of Peoria, Illinois, Antonia Evans of Sedalia, Brent Beechamp of Clinton, Iowa; one sister, Dawn (Jim) Williams of Eldon; one aunt, Goldie Threadgill of Eldon; one nephew, Nicholas Williams of Eldon; two nieces, Beth Hale of High Point, Sabrina Williams of Eldon; seven great nephews, one great niece and many cousins. One brother, Thomas Boatner, Jr., preceded him in death. A Celebration of Robert’s Life will be held at a later date. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Gateway Industries of Eldon.
