Suzanne “Suzi” Marie (Plutko) Jones, 71 of Clayton, NC, passed peacefully Thursday, October 7th in Raleigh, NC after a brief battle with cancer.

Born May 1st, 1950, in Altoona, PA, the daughter of Joseph G (d. 1996) and Rose M Plutko (d. 2001), Suzanne was a graduate of Bishop Guilfoyle High School in 1968. Suzi retired in 2015 after a lifelong career in banking/lending. She enjoyed reading, puzzles, baking and crocheting, but nothing gave her more joy than being a wonderful and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and dog mom. 

She is survived by her loving husband of 23 years, Ronald Michael Jones; her two sons and their wives Matthew J and Beth A Quatrara of Charlottesville, VA and Nicholas J and Courtney L Quatrara of Wake Forest, NC; along with five grandchildren Lucas A (15) and Michael W (13), Charlottesville, VA; and Anna Rose (15), Eleanor J (13) and Joseph R (10), Wake Forest, NC.

The family welcomes all to join the services to be held Friday, October 15th 2021 at 1:00pm at Alto-Reste Park in Altoona, PA.
