Mary O’Bryan Marianna “Mo” Lucille O’Bryan, age 69, of Basehor, Kansas and previously of Dayton, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, October 6th, 2021. Visitation will be Noon-1pm, followed by the Funeral Service at 1pm both Tuesday, Oct. 12th, at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Glenwood Cemetery in Basehor. Mary was born on May 23, 1952 in Denver, Colorado and was the only daughter of four children born to Hershel & Emily Muse. With her father being in the U.S. Airforce the family moved quite often. Mary’s childhood was spent near Edwards Airforce Base in California, McConnell Airforce Base in Wichita, KS., and Wright-Patterson Airforce Base in Dayton, OH. She graduated from Wayne High School in Huber Heights, OH in the class of 1970, she then went on to further her education at Miami-Jacobs Junior College in Dayton, OH. Mary married John O’Bryan on December 18, 1971 in Dayton and they made their home in Huber Heights until moving to Basehor, Kansas in 2020. Over her working career she had worked at Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, Tybria Corp. and CACI International in Dayton, OH. Mary was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband John O’Bryan of the home. One daughter Kelly McLemore, husband Jason and granddaughter Madison of Basehor. Three brothers Stan Muse wife Bernice of Huber Heights, OH., Bob Muse and wife Debbie of Bethel Township, OH., Ed Muse and wife Lisa of Oakwood, OH., her best friend Samantha Bell of Dayton, OH., as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
