Edward Palladino Sr.

Edward Palladino Sr., life-long resident of Orient Heights, East Boston, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on October 8th at the age of 98.

Beloved husband of the late Julia (Guarino) Palladino.

Devoted father of Edward Palladino Jr. and his wife Denise of Saugus, Louise Donner and her husband Jonathan of Lynnfield and Susan Daly and her husband Paul of Saugus.

Cherished grandfather of Alexa and Jamie Palladino, Rachel Rincon and her husband Ryan, Stephen Daly and his wife Kayla, Macayla and Julia Daly and Dennis Giglio and his wife Cezanne.

Adored great-grandfather of Audrina and Madison.

Predeceased by 6 brothers and 1 sister.

Family and friends will honor Edward’s life by gathering at the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home 971 Saratoga St. East Boston on Tuesday, October 12th from 4:00 to 8:00PM and again on Wednesday morning at 9:30AM before leaving in funeral procession to St. Joseph - St. Lazarus Church 59 Ashley St., East Boston for a 11:00AM mass in celebration of  Edward’s life. Services will conclude with Edward being laid to rest with his beloved wife Julia at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Edward was a long time member of Orient Heights Yacht Club and the Orient Heights Civic Club. Past Navy veteran WWII.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
