Elbert Savage

<p>Elbert Savage, 81, of Dans Branch; Williamson, WV passed away Thursday, October 7, 2021 at the Tug Valley ARH Regional Medical Center in South Williamson, KY.&nbsp; Born September 17, 1940 in Mingo County, WV, he was the son of the late Jaybell and Elzie Williams Savage.</p> <p>In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, June Savage, son-in-law, Ricky Collins, and his brothers and sisters, Jr. Savage, Bill Savage, Homer Savage, Darrell Savage, Darry Savage, Carol Sue Savage, and Dolores Marcum.&nbsp;</p> <p>Elbert was a former coal miner.&nbsp;</p> <p>Survivors include his daughters, Donna (Dan) Harmon of Delbarton, WV, Tammy Collins of Beech Fork, WV, Carlin Savage of Williamson, WV, and Ella Savage of Williamson, WV, his grandchildren, Paul Crawford of Williamson, WV, Ricky and Mindy Collins of Turkey Creek, KY, Brian Booth of Belfry, KY, Kayla and Charles Smith of Beech Fork, WV, Jacob Johnson of Williamson, WV, Zachary and Cindy Collins of Delbarton, WV, Brittney Booth of Belfry, KY, and Kim and Jordan Clevenger of Lexington, KY, 8 great-granddaughters, 7 great-grandsons, and a host of other family and friends.&nbsp;</p> <p>Funeral services will be held Monday, October 11, 2021 at 12:00 pm at the Hatfield Funeral Chapel at Toler, KY with Rev. Haskell Runyon Jr. officiating.&nbsp; Burial will follow in the Mt. View Memory Gardens at Maher, WV with Ricky Collins, Brian Booth, Jacob Johnson, Zachary Collins, Jordan Clevenger, and Keith Stapleton serving as pallbearers.&nbsp;</p> <p>Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of service on Monday at the funeral home.</p>
