<p>The family of Florence Nippshank is saddened to announce her passing at the Athabasca Healthcare Centre on October 4th, 2021 at the age of 89 years.</p> <p>Florence is lovingly remembered by her children: Glen, Dave, and Shannon; as well as her siblings: August, Arthur, Gordon, Lyle, Don, Patsy and Eileen. She also leaves to mourn her numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, many of which were fortunate to live close and spend a great deal of time with their precious grandmother and auntie.</p> <p>Florence was predeceased by her parents: Patrick and Dilna; her siblings: Edward (Ned) and Rena; her children: Gail, Larry, Charles (Chuckie) and Linda.</p> <p>Anyone who knew Florence will remember her for her kindness and her special way of always making everyone feel important and loved. She always asked how you were doing and she never missed your birthday, even if you hadn&rsquo;t seen her in months. When you visited Florence you were always offered tea, something to eat, and great conversation. She had many wonderful lifelong friends that she adored and who adored her back. She will forever live on in our hearts.</p> <p>Service to take place on October 18th at 11:00am at the St. Gabriel&rsquo;s Roman Catholic Church in Athabasca, AB.</p>

Many fond memories of Florence. My sincere condolences to all the family and friends. She was a very dear friend to Mom (Florence Powder- Ladouceur) and all us girls.
