<p>May 5, 1937 &ndash; October 7, 2021</p> <p>MAMOU &ndash; Ms. Nellie T. McClendon Guillory, 84, of Mamou, entered eternal rest on October 7, 2021, at home with her family at her side. Nellie will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.</p> <p>She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Maxime Guillory; her parents, Branch and Labbi McClendon; and brothers, Wilbert Chretein and Albert McClendon.</p> <p>Nellie was a beloved mother to Geiana Wilson (Kenny) of Mamou, Sandra Guillory of Mamou, Brenda Guillory of Chicago, IL, and Ethel Guillory (Cara) of Trinity, FL. Nellie was a beloved grandmother to Branchard McClendon (Will) of Spring, TX, Kannetha Wilson (Brittany) of Mamou, Bethany Celestine (Kahlil) of Chataignier, Lannie Celestine of Mamou, Lexi McIntosh (Chris) of El Paso, TX, Richard Celestine and De-Andre&rsquo; Celestine of Chataignier, Anna Massa and Julia Guillory of Trinity, FL.; great-grandmother to Chris McIntosh, III. She is survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.</p> <p>At the request of the family visitation will be held at Ardoin&rsquo;s Funeral Home of Mamou on Saturday, October 9, 2021, from 10:00 AM until 12:00 pm. A rosary will be recited by Deacon Chuck Ortego at 12:00 PM. Graveside Services will be held at Delafosse Cemetery on Saturday at 1:00 PM. Father Bala Rayapati will conduct graveside service.</p> <p>The family would like to thank Dr. Nicholas D. LaHaye along with Savoy Medical Center Team who aided with her care. We would also like to thank The Summit Family for also taking care of her. We would like to thank Passage Hospice Care for helping her transition to her new journey home with the Lord. MAMOU – Ms. Nellie T. McClendon Guillory, 84, of Mamou, entered eternal rest on October 7, 2021, at home with her family at her side. Nellie will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Maxime Guillory; her parents, Branch and Labbi McClendon; and brothers, Wilbert Chretein and Albert McClendon.
