Charles M. Gonzalez Sr., 72, of Kansas City, Kansas passed away on October 5, 2021. He was born on April 12, 1949, to Phillip and Calletana Katherine (Hernandez) Gonzalez. Charles was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He was a retired government employee. He was a member of the New Story Church. Charles served in the Army/Vietnam War. He is survived by his children, Charles (April Stephanie), Juan (Christy), Angelina (Bobby), Manuel (Terri), Jason, Justin (Ariana); his siblings, Michael Gonzalez, Marsha Gonzalez, Jacqueline Gonzalez, April Cruz, and Cecilia Moran; and numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Phillip and Calletana Gonzalez; Clara Jean and Cindy Ann; two sisters, Veronica Vargas, and Sharon Pittman; one brother, Jesus Gonzalez.
