Rhonda Sue Alexander Obituary

On October 4th, 2021 Rhonda Sue (Bailey) Alexander, age 67, made her peaceful transition surrounded by family at KU Medical Center in Kansas City, KS. She is a former resident of Marceline, MO and later Bozeman, MT who recently relocated to Lee’s Summit, MO to be closer to her family. Survivors include her husband of 18 years, Ted Alexander, Lee’s Summit, MO; son Christian and Bobbi Farris, Kansas City, MO; daughter Shelby (Farris) and Richard McGuire, Lee’s Summit, MO as well as her beloved grandchildren, Macey Cavanah and Corbin McGuire, Lee’s Summit, MO; sister Janet (Bailey) and Charlie Brockman, Brookfield, MO; sister Margaret Rose (Bailey) and Kem Jones, Kansas City, MO; brother-in-law Kenneth Enyeart and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father Billie Bailey, mother Mildred (Thudium) Bailey and sister Sharon (Bailey) Enyeart.

Rhonda was born in Brookfield, MO on June 24th, 1954 and graduated from Brookfield High School in 1973. She is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and did many charitable acts over the years, including providing food for fire fighters working wildfires, floral services for those in need, among many others. Rhonda loved cooking, baking and doing all things creative. She was an entrepreneur with her hand in many successful endeavors, one of which being the owner/operator of Budget Bouquet and More during her time in Bozeman before retirement. Rhonda was known to be a visionary that had the work ethic to bring dreams to life. She loved sewing costumes, quilting, tending to her garden/African violets and spending time with loved ones.

Visitation will be held Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Wright Funeral Home in Brookfield. Immediately following visitation, a Celebration of Life will be held.  A private burial will take place at a later date.
