<p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="font-size:24px;"><em><strong>&ldquo;Sam&rdquo;</strong></em></span></p> <p>It is with great sorrow to say that Sam rode off to the pastures of heaven on September 27, 2021 in Provo, Utah. He was born March 27, 1943 to Joseph Bates and Fern Allman. He married Teena Mae Carter on June 27, 1962. Sam loved spending time with his horses, fishing,&nbsp; and camping. But most of all he loved spending time with his family. Sam was an excellent example of love, strength, hard work and Christ-like service. He will forever be embedded in our lives. Thank-you Dad, for your great example.</p> <p>Sam worked at Geneva Steele for many years and also worked at Pioneer Valley Hospital in air conditioning and refrigeration. After retiring he and his beloved wife moved to Sterling, Utah, where he raised hay, horses, and great grandchildren. Sam is survived by his wife Teena, 3 daughters and 1 son, Tammy Knickerbocker (Steve), Joseph Terry Allman (Tami), Tresa Grosbeck (Jay), and Tonja Trotter, 14 grandchildren and a passel of great grandchildren, 3 sisters, Mary Ewell,&nbsp; Verna Lee Attwood, Sandra Lamoreaux. Preceded in death by both his parents Joe and Fern Allman, sisters, Diane Farley and Joyce Smith.</p> <p>Sam will be laid to rest on October 11, 2021 in Levan, Utah Cemetery. Funeral services will be held October 11, 2021 at 12:00 pm at Anderson Funeral Home (94 West 300 North).</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>

“Sam”
