<p>Barbara J. Baker of Greenwood, DE passed away at the Delaware Hospice Center on Thursday, September 30, 2021.&nbsp; She was 71 years old.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>She was born in Millsboro, DE on February 16, 1950, to the late George E. and Jeanette Dukes Loveland.&nbsp; In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Joseph Baker in 2001 as well as a son Dean and a brother Steve Loveland.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Barbara worked in retail most of her life.&nbsp; She enjoyed playing Bingo, thrift store shopping, collecting things, listening to all kind of music and always had to have a Diet Pepsi nearby.&nbsp; She loved animals especially her cat &ldquo;Coal&rdquo;.&nbsp; Barbara loved her family and cherished the time spent together.&nbsp; She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and sister and will be dearly missed.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>She is survived by three children Garrett Mitchell of Millsboro, DE: Mary Jo Nelson (Ricky) of Georgetown, NY, and Shannon Moore (Stevie) of Millsboro, DE as well as a stepdaughter Kay Eskridge of Bridgeville, DE.&nbsp; Barbara also has five siblings surviving, David E. Loveland of Crisfield, MD, Mark W. Loveland of Frankford, DE, Raymond S. Loveland of Seaford, DE, Gail M. Quillen of Ocean View, DE and and Nancy L. Johnson of Crisfield, MD.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Barbara was also blessed with 11 grandchildren: Dallas Mitchell, Justine Nailor, Paul Nelson, Bradford Nelson, Linda Jo Nelson, Samantha Parker, Christian Moore, Austin Moore, Brent Webb, Paula Elston, and Effie Koc as well as 12 great grandchildren with 3 on the way.&nbsp; She is also survived by nieces, nephews extended family and friends.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Services and interment will be private.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Arrangements provided by Watson Funeral Home, Millsboro, DE.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Electronic condolences via www.watsonfh.com</p>

Barbara J. Baker of Greenwood, DE passed away at the Delaware Hospice Center on Thursday, September 30, 2021.  She was 71 years old.

 

She was born in Millsboro, DE on February 16, 1950, to the late George E. and Jeanette Dukes Loveland.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Joseph Baker in 2001 as well as a son Dean and a brother Steve Loveland.
