Danial L. Loe, age 73, of Columbia City, IN, passed away at 2:25 pm on Saturday October 2, 2021, at his residence.  Born on January 20, 1948, in Wolf Lake, IN, he was the son of Guy and Betty (Mock) Loe.

Dan attended Churubusco High School and graduated with the Class of 1967.  He then went on to proudly serve his country in the U.S. Army.  On February 20, 1970, Dan married Judy K. Roberts in Garrett, IN.  Dan worked for Dana Weatherhead, Columbia City for 30 years, until his retirement in 1998.

Dan enjoyed salmon fishing, working on his street rod, and family gatherings in his free time.

Survivors include his loving wife of 51 years, Judy Loe of Columbia City; children Shane Loe and Daniell (Robert) Brown, both of Albion; grandchildren Christopher Lewis Loe, Courtland Lewis Loe, Ali Breann Brown, and Shad Allen Loe; great-grandchildren Briar and Malakai; sister Mary Ann Roberts of Columbia City.

Preceded in death by his parents, infant sister Linda Sue Loe, brother Steve Loe, and half-brother Terry Loe.

A memorial gathering for Dan will be from 4-6 pm, Friday, October 29, 2021 at DeMoney-Grimes Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City.

Memorial contributions in memory of Dan may be made to his final expenses.
