<p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Angeline Johnston</strong></p> <p><strong>Georges River</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Angeline Johnston age 84, beloved mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, on Saturday October 2, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family.</p> <p>Born in Florence, March 8, 1937, Angeline was the daughter of the late Samuel and Angeline (Hoskings) McIntyre. She was a member of St. Joseph Church, Bras d&rsquo;Or. She enjoyed playing cards and bingo, but most of all spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren Julia and Johnny whom she adored.</p> <p>Angeline is survived by her two sons; John George (Kelly) Johnston, Georges River, Freddie McIntyre, Halifax, grandchildren Julia and Johnny, sisters; Margaret Almon, North Sydney, Ann Almon, Georges River, Bernadette (Danny) Finney, Long Island, brother; Tom MacIntyre, Georges River, also a number of nieces and nephews who were very close to her.</p> <p>Besides her parents Angeline was predeceased by her husband Chalmers Johnston, daughter Christina Marie MacIntyre, by her son James Chalmers Johnston in 2020, sisters; Mary Almon, brothers; Samuel and Louis MacIntyre, two infant brothers Elmer and Harry, brothers-in-law; Bill Almon, Louis Almon and Frank Almon.</p> <p>A visitation for Angeline was held 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Sunday, October 3, 2021 in the W.J. Dooley Funeral Home, 107 Pleasant Street, North Sydney. A graveside committal service will be held 10:30 am Tuesday at St. Joseph Cemetery, Bras d&rsquo;Or with Rev. Godwin Obike officiating.
