Judith Hardin-Doggett

Judith Hardin Doggett, 89, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on Friday, October 1, 2021 in her home with her family by her side. She was born on September 20, 1932 in Barranquilla, Colombia to Manuel and Lilia Franco. Judy was preceded in death by her husbands Gordon Hardin Sr. and William Royce Doggett. She was a homemaker, attended Grace Community Church and was a lifelong Catholic. She is survived by her son Gordon (Sandy) Hardin of Fort Smith, daughter Judy (Mitchell) Steele of Van Buren, grandsons Ryan (Courtney) Steele of Greenwood, Tyler (Ashley) Steele of Tontitown, great-grandchildren Marlee, Mallory, Ryker, Deklan, Lennox and Griffin. She is also survived by two brothers, four sisters and many extended family members and friends. The celebration of Judy’s life will be 10:00 AM, Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at Grace Community Church Chapel in Fort Smith, AR. A private burial will be at a later date. Cremation was under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith. The family would like to thank Mercy Home Health and Mercy Hospice for the excellent care they showed Judy. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Grace Community Church, 4001 Brooken Hill Dr., Fort Smith, AR 72908.
