Marlene Louise Cuevas Ladner, age 54, of Pass Christian, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on October 1, 2021.
She is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Renelder John “Buddy” Ladner, Jr; her children, Gregory J. (Dywana) Ladner, Derek R. (Danielle) Ladner, and Ashley R. (Jennifer) Ladner; her father, Howard (Judy) Cuevas, Jr; her mother, Marilyn (Norbert) Ladner; 6 grandchildren, Cameron, Bryce, Caden, Kalli, Lydia, and Gabby; her siblings, Darrin (Nancy) Cuevas, Melissa Cuevas, Craig Cuevas, Tammy Niolet, L.J. Cuevas, and Roy Cuevas; and other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Ladner a lifelong resident of Harrison County and was retired from the Harrison County School System as a bus driver and cafeteria worker at West Wortham School. She loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed music and dancing.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 5, 2021, from 6 – 9 pm at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 9113 Kiln DeLisle Road, Pass Christian. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Dedeaux. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery at Rotten Bayou.
