Obituary
Michael Ulrich, 52, passed away surrounded by the ones he cherished more than anything, his wife and children on September 30th, 2021.
Michael was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned and everyone knew.
Michael is survived by the love of his life for over 30yrs Christy (Hoschouer), the pride and joy of his life, his children Mikey (Kimmy) and Madilyn (Julian). Whom he loved more than anything. His beautiful blue eyes would just light up when he talked about his wife and kids….coming a very close second to the love of his family was cutting his grass, smoking cigars, watching ridiculousness, shooting guns, traveling and boating… (in that exact order).
Michael is also survived by his mother Kathleen, his brother Doug (Christine), and many nieces, nephews, cousins and other cherished family members and friends. Michael was preceded in death by his father, Doug (Papa) whom we are sure he is enjoying a beer and cigar with.
Michael will be missed dearly by all who knew him. He was an incredible man. He had an infectious laugh and loved like no other. He had a smile that stopped you in your tracks. He always put his family first – his selflessness was beyond reproach. He will live on in our hearts, minds, thoughts, prayers, and laughs forever.
Everyone who remembers him is asked to celebrate Michael’s life in their own way; raising a glass of your favorite beverage in his memory would be quite appropriate.
A visitation will be from 3:00 – 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 and Wednesday, October 6th at 10a-12:45pm at the Countryside Funeral Home, 1640 S. Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.)
