JAMES LEE "JAMIE" WALLIS, 59 PIONEER, LOUISIANA Cox Funeral Home Oak Grove, Louisiana OAK GROVE, LA - Funeral services for James Lee "Jamie" Wallis, age 59 of Oak Grove, Louisiana will be held at 2 PM on Friday, October 1, 2021 at the Thomas Jason Lingo Community Center in Oak Grove, Louisiana. Reverends Courtney Rainey and Greg Dunn will officiate. Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Oak Grove, Louisiana. Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Oak Grove. A time of visitation will be held from 5 to 8 PM on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Cox Funeral Home, 200 East Noble Street in Oak Grove, Louisiana. Jamie passed into eternal life on Monday, September 27, 2021. Jamie was a long time law enforcement officer having served in many departments. He was currently serving as Chief of Police for the Village of Pioneer, Louisiana. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Franklin "Bob" Wallis. Jamie is survived by his wife, Terri Lee Wallis of Pioneer, Louisiana; his mother and step father, Ann and Larry Brock of Lake Providence, Louisiana; step mother Eveline Wallis-Pinkerton of Branson, Missouri; son and daughter-in-law, Lee and Crystal Wallis of Beekman, Louisiana; son, Brian Wallis of Oakdale, Louisiana; daughter and son-in-law, Whitni and Brad Smith of Lake Providence, Louisiana; daughter and son-in-law, Taylor and Jamie Philley of Oak Grove, Louisiana; daughter and son-in-law, Bethany and Austin West of Monroe, Louisiana; grandson, James Clayton Wallis of Sterlington, Louisiana; grandson, Caine Anglin of Beekman, Louisiana; granddaughter, Natalee Young of Beekman, Louisiana; granddaughter, Gracie Smith of Lake Providence, Louisiana; granddaughter, Mabry Ross of Oak Grove, Louisiana; granddaudhter, Everleigh West of Monroe, Louisiana; sister and brother-in-law, Ellen and Jack Hullett of Little Rock, Arkansas; sister and brother-in-law, Becky and Thad Shaeffer of West Monroe, Louisiana; and sister, Sarah Tygart of Boliver, Missouri.
