Emil Draves, 99, of Clear Lake formerly of Webster City died Sunday, September 26, 2021 at Oakwood Care Center in Clear Lake. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Foster Funeral and Cremation Center is entrusted with the services. Emil W. Draves, son of Edward and Emma (Jorges) Draves, was born October 29, 1921 in Hanlontown, Iowa. He graduated from Dows High School in 1939. On August 26, 1951 Emil was united in marriage to Mary Louise Waugh in Clarksville, Iowa. The couple resided in Webster City. He worked many jobs over the years including, Hart Carter, Highview Co-op, and Nissen and Sons. He is survived by his children, Debra (Brian) Coon of Glencoe, MN, Craig (Becky) Draves of Clear Lake, IA, Roger (Linda) Draves of San Jose, CA, Virgil (Ruth) Draves of Kirkland, WA; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary in 2002; siblings, Art, Carl, Clarence, Harry, Anton, Edna, Hilda, Estella, and Gladys.
