James Otis Smith, Sr., 90, of Macon, Georgia, passed away on    Thursday, September 23, 2021.  A graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, October 2, 2021, at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, with Chaplain Chris Keys officiating.

Mr. Smith served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War.  He worked as an electrician and retired from IBEW.  He lived in Macon for over 40 years.  He loved honky tonks, Fords, attending Military reunions, and the Shriners.

Mr. Smith will be remembered by his children, Lynn Francis, of Hahira, Georgia, James “Jimmy” Smith, Jr. (Bronwyn), of Brunswick, Georgia, and Chrystal Sherwood (Ron), of Kathleen, Georgia; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest C. Smith and mother, Nannie Lou Williams Smith.
