Philip Lee Thomas

Philip Lee Thomas, 56, of Cleburne, passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2021. He was born on May 26, 1965 to Jimmy Ed Thomas and Cynthia Janice (Perry) Thomas in Fort Worth. He married Ida Katherine “Kathy” Kelley in 1994. Philip was an automotive technician for over 36 years and was of the Christian faith. He was the ultimate jokester and storyteller. He was a collector of country items and an avid country music fan. Philip enjoyed hunting and spending time crafting or working on projects. His smile and blue eyes lit up every room he entered. He was a giver, always helping others in any way he could. Philip will be missed greatly and remembered for his love of life and family. Philip is survived by his wife, Kathy Thomas; his children and their spouses, Amanda Tomerlin and David, Cheyenne Thomas and Gilbert, and Brandon Starks and Sherry; grandchildren, McKenzie, Brianna, Vincent, Peyton and Logan; and a host of other relatives, which include, his aunts and uncles Patricia and Troy Burnette and Homer and Mitzi Thomas; and many friends He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
