Sherry Ann Grieser (77) peacefully passed away on September 23rd, 2021. Sherry was born on February 17th, 1944 in Ames, Iowa where she went to high school and became well known for her graceful dancing. She then graduated from the University of Utah where she received her degree in Dance Therapy. She worked at Camarillo State Hospital in California from 1966-1968 where she worked with people with disabilities and the Brainerd Regional Human Service Center from 1968-2005. Sherry was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Brainerd for many years. Sherry was a vivacious person who was full of life and energy. She had a warm and generous heart who loved helping people and loved all creatures great and small. She always brought a smile to those around her and knew how to light up any room with her dance moves. Sherry was always up for an adventure; she enjoyed traveling, the outdoors and spending time with friends and family. She loved her life and was blessed with a wonderful family and many friends. In lieu of flowers, Sherry wanted people to donate to a cause that would bring joy to others. She is survived by her son, Jacob Grieser; daughter, Kara Grieser, son-in-law, Daniel Ball; four grandchildren, Matt, Jazzmine, Jace, and Zachary Grieser. She is preceded in death by her parents, William E. Martin and Thelma B. Martin, and her brother, Bill Martin. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 1st, 2021, from 3:00pm to 5:00pm at Halvorson Taylor Life Events Center, Brainerd, MN.
