Click HERE to view viewing and family service for Ahofa Leakehe Ahofa Sisilia (Lotulelei) Leakehe, aged 86, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 16, 2021, surrounded by family members. She was born January 4, 1935, in Petani, Niuafo’ou, Tonga to Sione Pekalo & Ana Uasi (Malafu) Lotulelei. She married Sione Mateaki Leakehe on August 27, 1954. On October 2, 1954, they were baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They were sealed with their five children in the Hamilton New Zealand Temple on December 3, 1968. Ahofa was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served faithfully in may callings in the Relief Society and Primary. Ahofa loved being with her family, especially telling stories about growing up in Niuafo’ou, ‘Eua, and Tongatapu. Ahofa was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and several siblings. She is survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and three siblings. The family would like to thank the Canyon Homecare & Hospice for their outstanding and loving care during her time of need. We will celebrate Ahofa’s life at a funeral service at noon, September 23, 2021 at the Salt Lake Utah West Stake (Tongan) Center. A viewing will be held from 9-11:30 am prior to the service. Interment will be at Stansbury Park Cemetery.
