James C. "Jamie" Meece

<p>James Columbus &ldquo;Jamie&rdquo; Meece, 49, of Trenton, GA entered his eternal home on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at a local hospital.&nbsp; Jamie was a native of Fort Oglethorpe where he attended LFO High School.&nbsp; He was an Electrician by trade and was currently employed by Dematic Corporation.&nbsp; Jamie loved his family, spending time outdoors, hunting, and fishing.</p> <p>He was preceded in death by his special niece, Siera Storm Johnson; grandfather, Jesse Ray Curry; grandparents, Max and Bessie Janow; and uncle, Scotty Lynn Curry.</p> <p>Survivors include his son, Kyle Stockman; mother, Carole (Max) Janow; sisters, Teresa Carlisle and Camie (Mike) Meece; brothers, Wayne (Poppy) Meece and Johnny Meece; grandmother, Odessa Pat Curry; five nephews; nine nieces; several aunts and uncles; and numerous cousins.</p> <p>Condolences may be shared at www.lane-southcrestchapel.com.</p> <p>Funeral services will be held Monday, September 27th at 10:00a.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Reverend Joel Germany officiating.</p> <p>Interment will follow in the Hamilton Memorial Gardens.</p> <p>The family will receive friends Sunday, September 26th from 4-8p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, Rossville, GA.</p>

James Columbus “Jamie” Meece, 49, of Trenton, GA entered his eternal home on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at a local hospital.  Jamie was a native of Fort Oglethorpe where he attended LFO High School.  He was an Electrician by trade and was currently employed by Dematic Corporation.  Jamie loved his family, spending time outdoors, hunting, and fishing.
