<p>The family of Jerry Dewayne Holland is saddened to announce his unexpected passing on September 21, 2021 at the age of 57.&nbsp; Jerry was a loving son, husband, father, and grandfather.&nbsp; He was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area and a member of Parkway Baptist in Fort Oglethorpe. He was the owner and operator of Holland Excavating Company.&nbsp; His love and dedication to his family was undeniable by all that knew him. &nbsp;He was one that enjoyed most anything, as long as he was surrounded by his family and friends.&nbsp; To know him was to love him.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>Jerry was preceded in death by his father Beecher Holland.</p> <p>Survivors include his wife, his one and only love, Kimberly Diane Holland; daughter, Ginger Kay Strickland and husband Jimmy; son, Beecher Trey Holland and wife, Charity; grandchildren, Savannah Rae Strickland and Carter Ridge Strickland; Mother: Faye Clark; Sister: Connie Early and husband Owen; brother: Ricky Holland and his wife Lisa.&nbsp; Jerry also had a host of nieces, nephews, and friends that he loved dearly.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>Funeral Services celebrating his life will take place at Noon, on Saturday September 25, 2021, at Parkway Baptist with Dr. David Sampson, Reverend Bill Broom, and his son, Reverend Trey Holland officiating.&nbsp; Interment will be at Noon on Monday September 27, 2021, at McDonald Cemetery East in Ooltewah, TN.</p> <p>In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Parkway Baptist College and Career Fund where his son serves as the college pastor.&nbsp;</p> <p>The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM, Friday September 24, 2021 at Heritage Funeral Home &amp; Crematory, Battlefield Parkway, Fort Oglethorpe, GA.</p>

The family of Jerry Dewayne Holland is saddened to announce his unexpected passing on September 21, 2021 at the age of 57.  Jerry was a loving son, husband, father, and grandfather.  He was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area and a member of Parkway Baptist in Fort Oglethorpe. He was the owner and operator of Holland Excavating Company.  His love and dedication to his family was undeniable by all that knew him.  He was one that enjoyed most anything, as long as he was surrounded by his family and friends.  To know him was to love him.
