<p>Katherine Marie Reed, 78, of Summerville, GA went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 17, 2021 at her home. She was a lifelong resident of North Georgia and was of the Baptist faith.</p> <p>She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Idella Ellis; brother, Perry Ellis; two grandchildren, Tony Jones and Chris Plunkett.</p> <p>Survivors include her daughter, Sherry King; son, Terry Plunkett; sister, Lola Kirk; nieces, Pamela Thomas and Debi (Jeff) Johnston; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.</p> <p>Condolences may be shared at www.lane-southcrestchapel.com.</p> <p>Private family services will be held at a later date.</p> <p>Arrangements are by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, Rossville, GA.</p>Obituary
