Gilbert-Services for Richard “Ricky” O.  Drafts, 49, will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.  The family will receive friends following the service at the church. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic B-L Chapel is assisting the family.

Mr. Drafts passed away Sunday, September 19, 2021. He was a son of the late Franklin Drafts and Sandra Birchmore.  He was employed in the Maintenance Department with Southern Development Management Company at Leesville Gardens. 

Surviving are his daughter, Brittany M. Drafts; fiancée, Jessica Oswald; sisters, Charlene Williams and Melissa Stone; granddaughter, Ensley Nova Laux.  He was predeceased by a son-in-law, Cody Laux and a brother, Dwayne Drafts.

The family would like to thank the Doctors and Nurses at the 4th floor North Tower ICU at Lexington Medical Center for their loving care.
