Mark A. Cianfichi of Wilkes-Barre, formerly of Scranton, passed away Monday at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Nicholas and Grace Mancini Cianfichi. Prior to his illness, he was employed in retail.
He enjoyed painting ceramics, and was a singer in many of the local churches.
Mark’s family and friends remember his generous spirit, kind heart, and witty sense of humor.
Surviving are brother Anthony Cianfichi (Kristin), Scranton; sister Madonna Cianfichi (Matthew Vaughn) Philadelphia area; nephew Alec Cianfichi (Kirsten), Colorado.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, Sept. 24 at 11 a.m. in St. Catherine’s of Sienna Church, 220 Church St., Moscow. Interment in Cathedral Cemetery will be private at the convenience of the family. There will be a reception immediately after the service in the church’s lounge.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Guido-Fiorillo Funeral Home, 120 S. Main Ave., Scranton.
