Mr. Ed Mulkey, 86, of Ranger, Georgia passed away Sunday, September 19, 2021, at his residence.

Mr. Mulkey was born in Pickens County, Georgia on September 2, 1935, son of the late Oliver and Dora Jane Chastain Mulkey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Annis Silvers Mulkey in January of 2021. He was retired from Lacey Mills in Fairmount, Georgia.

Survivors include a daughter, Edna Sue Tatum, and her husband Terry of Ranger and a granddaughter, Heather Ann Tatum of Ranger; a sister, Betty Childers; brothers, Albert Mulkey and Coy Mulkey along with other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Ed Mulkey will be conducted Thursday, September 23rd at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home with burial to follow in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery near Ranger, GA. Pallbearers serving include, David Pack, Bobby Silvers, Edward Silvers, Donnie Nichols, and Sonny Silvers.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, September 22nd between the hours of 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM.
