Mrs. Rita Dale Perritt, 71, died Saturday (September 21, 2021) at Memorial Health in Savannah. She was a native and lifelong resident of Waycross. Mrs. Perritt graduated from Valdosta State University, and she was employed by The Harrell Learning Center as a teacher. She was preceded in death by her father, James Frederick Hayes; her mother, Irene Davis Blackstone; and her husband, James Robert Perritt. Survivors include one son, James David Thrift of Waycross; one daughter, Gina Robyn Perritt of Waycross; two grandchildren, Jayme Alexis Thrift and Jimmy Levi Thrift; and numerous other relatives.
