<p>Bernice Alexander Bonds was born on January 14, 1924 and went to be with the lord on September 18, 2021 in Gainesville, Ga.&nbsp;</p> <p>She had 9 siblings and is survived by sisters, Shirley Cantrell and Shelby Lyons,&nbsp;daughter- Wanda Bonds, Son - Doug Bonds and wife Suzann, granddaughter - Misty Bonds Barrere, Grandson - Timothy Bonds, great grandsons - Ben and Sam Barrere, great granddaughter Molly Barrere and many nieces and nephews.</p> <p>On&nbsp;March 29, 1941 she married Loy Bonds and they shared 64 years together. She and her Husband were very active members of Central Baptist Church and Blackshear Place Baptist Church, they will both be remembered for their strong faith and lives of testimony to Jesus Christ. Bernice was a caregiver to anyone who needed help. She rocked many babies in the church nursery and cooked meals for the sick. She was happiest when her home was filled with family and friends, she will be dearly missed.&nbsp;</p> <p>The family wishes to extend special thanks to the staff at Bell Minor Nursing home who lovingly cared for her in her last days.</p> <p>A celebration of life will be held at 2 pm Sunday September 26, 2021 at Victory Baptist Church 145 Clarks Bridge Rd. Gainesville, Ga.30501. Pastor Scott Waters and Pastor Jim Austin&nbsp;will officiate. On March 29, 1941 she married Loy Bonds and they shared 64 years together.
