Nancy Lee (Mann) McCord was born on June 22, 1941, in Pisgah, Iowa to Lloyd Irvin and Gladys Lillian (Seaman) Mann. She attended Moorhead schools and graduated from Moorhead High School. Nancy played basketball in high school and was also a majorette. In 1959, Nancy married Donald O. Clark. To this union three sons were born. The family lived in Pisgah. On March 16, 1970, Nancy married Harold McCord in Omaha. To this union one daughter was born. They farmed and operated McCord Trucking in Pisgah.  Nancy also had operated the Pisgah Dairy Sweet and managed Plessweggs in Logan. Harold died on November 13, 2005.

Nancy enjoyed going to the casino, playing bridge, euchre, cribbage, bunko and bingo. Nancy also enjoyed following her children and grandchildren in their school events. She enjoyed watching Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, Dr. Phil, Oprah and other television shows.

Nancy died on Saturday, September 18, 2021, at the Pleasant View Nursing Home in Whiting, Iowa at the age of 80 years, two months and 27 days.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Harold McCord; four brothers, Roger, Bob, Sonny and Jeff Mann and step-daughter, Debbie Petersen. She is survived by her four children, Scott Clark and his wife Jackie of Pisgah, Iowa, Cary Clark of Atlantic, Iowa, Tommy Clark and his wife Christi of Blair, Nebraska and Darcy and her husband Jamie Winther of Pisgah, Iowa; two step children, Cheryl and her husband Leo Block of Omaha, Nebraska and Keith McCord of Omaha, Nebraska; nine grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; three sisters, Sandra Richardson of Logan, Iowa, Maureen Hedrick of Silver City, Iowa, Debbie and her husband Mark Polich of Garwin, Iowa; two brothers, Mike Mann and his wife LeAnn of Council Bluffs, Iowa and Dennis Stranathan of Pisgah, Iowa; and many other relatives and friends.

Friends are invited to come and pay their respects at the visitation but the funeral will be private.
